Features of Fusion commercial stairs |

StylishThe Fusion commercial collection is a cutting-edge blend of wood, metal and glass that is suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects - ideal for cafes, restaurants, pubs, clubs, offices, cinemas, libraries and other similar public buildings. Innovative metal connectors attach the newels and rails together, while sleek modern brackets fix the spindles or glass panels to the remainder of the stair balustrade. The range provides a great way to refresh a dated interior with contemporary flair, or add character to a bland modern building. |

Easy to fitDesigned for easy installation on timber, concrete or metal treads, the Fusion commercial system comprises off-the-shelf components that can quickly be slotted together on site. The range features ingeniously simple brackets and connectors to fit the baserails, handrails, newel posts and spindles together. The components can be adjusted to suit most types of staircase including straight and split designs, and closed or cut string treads. In most cases you won't need to make any modifications to the stair components apart from cutting the newels and rails to length. The balusters are supplied pre-cut and pre-assembled, and the newel bases come ready-drilled. You won't even have to paint or stain anything. The hard work has already been done for you, with all wooden staircase parts delivered pre-finished in transparent varnish. |

VersatileSuitable for installation on both closed and cut string staircases, the Fusion commercial collection is extremely versatile. The timber stairparts have been manufactured from solid white oak, while for the banister rail infill you can choose between glass panels and stainless steel spindles. Made-to-measure glass panels are also an option. The handrails, baserails and newels are fixed together using zinc alloy connecting brackets, which allow you to create a variety of configurations to ensure the resulting balustrade will fit correctly. |

StrongStrength and durability have been cleverly designed into the very core of the Fusion commercial collection. The range has been independently tested by TRADA (The Timber Research and Development Association), demonstrating its ability to support loadings of 0.74kN/m as required by UK building regulations. Fusion makes a perfect choice for shared access staircases in many kinds of public spaces including offices, restaurants, hotels and residential apartment buildings. The collection is suitable for stair pitches between 33° and 42°. |

Glass is an excellent material for maximising the sense of space in a building, making it feel bigger, lighter and brighter. With tough 8mm thick glazing, the Fusion commercial glass panels will bring a touch of contemporary glamour wherever they are installed yet are practical too, providing an essential safety barrier for the staircase without dominating the surrounding space. The panels can be easily attached to the stair balustrade using zinc alloy brackets that come with a stylish brushed nickel plated finish. |

Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel tubing with a brushed nickel plated finish, the stair rake balusters (the spindles running up the staircase) are 900mm tall, while the landing balusters have a height of 1100mm, in line with UK building regulations. All spindles feature the Richard Burbidge logo and zinc alloy brackets that are able to swivel to accommodate the angle of the staircase. The balusters are supplied pre-assembled and will not normally need cutting to size, making installation quick and easy. However, it is possible to cut them down to fit if required. |
