At WD Richard Burbidge, we are glad to provide our customers with a great post to post range, including Heritage white oak post to post stairs. Also known as newels, or newel posts, these upright posts support the handrails of the stair banister. You can find these at the foot of your stairs, as well as any intermediate posts on landings and at the top of the staircase. The spindles in this range refer to posts that are generally thinner and of a smaller height than newel posts.

Whether a new build, or a refurbishment project, we offer traditional luxury with our Heritage white oak post to post stairs. Available with 55mm spindles and 115mm newel posts, you can create large, grand staircases that create a big visual impact as well as being functional. Alternatively, 46mm spindles offer great proportional with our 95mm newels for a subtler and more delicate look.

The timber stair parts within the Heritage collection are manufactured to be the best quality, crafted in the decadent white oak by highly skilled carpenters. White oak is a hard, strong and durable wood, ensuring you will enjoy your new staircase and it will stand the test of time. In its natural state, it is a light open-grained brown colour, and each product is finished to create a unique look for your staircase.

The 95mm newels and 46mm spindle range can be supplied within 48 hours, but it is also worth noting that there is a 4-week lead time on all other Heritage staircase parts.
