Our Charleston balusters have a low profile, four-turn twist at the top and bottom of each baluster, and, like the Beaufort style, are influenced by the neo-classical architecture brought to the historic district of Charleston in the state of South Carolina introduced by the European settlers. Our Charleston spindles are perfect for mixing and matching with our other baluster styles, particularly those with a more decorative design such as Edisto and Savanah metal spindles which also incorporate the same twist pattern.
